I’m just a guy in the choir. I’m also a physical chemist (unemployed as of Sept, 2008—my choice) and shoulder the job of IT support for my family. By the latter, I mean that I fix my wife’s computer after visiting relatives find a way to infect it with viruses and spyware. I also put together web pages for some of my kids. My daughter is an electronic artist and musician who also builds and sells custom-designed synthesizers. At one time, I also did the web site for my older son and (soon-to-be) daughter-in-law, who run a music school: The Allegro School of Music in Stoneham. They have since taken their site in a different direction.

Other things: I grew up in Maryland; went to college in Ohio; went to graduate school in Massachusetts; meandered around Kansas, London and Pittsburgh for a time (post docs); settled in the Boston area. I like having a dog around to walk.
